Is botting all about luck or is there some skill involved?

Hey guys, I was wondering if being banned from botting was due to bad luck, ip flagging, or just straight up ignorance when it comes to botting. Do more "experienced" botters get banned less? Do the breaks implemented by scripters actually make a difference? I don't want to start botting 5+ accounts again if im going to get banned instantly. All feedback is appreciated!

 

There really isn't much luck involved its more about what scripts you are using, and what type of accounts are being botted(creation date and levels). Breaks also help and don't bot a highly known gold farming method using a free script, that will get you instantly banned.

 

Would reccomend using p2p and private scripts.

 

Lots of factors go into it to make you successful. Most successful users keep their ways private.

You could just make your own client, most clients out there are coded very poorly (I'd rather use rsbot v1 ported to osrs than some of the ones on the market)

Well, more you bot, more experienced you become.So definitely there are some skills involved.You have to find out what factors gets you banned, how to avoid it etc.

 

Its more about the botwatch.
Try botting at places where is low popularity.

The most important factor for me has always been using private scripts and not exceeding human-possible online times.
