Kill Fareed without Ice Gloves?

If you do legacy combat mode, then you can easily kill fareed with a book/orb autocasting, and then punching + ring of recoil main hand. Did it myself. Thanks for the responses guys!

 

I believe you need a staff/wand equipped to cast abilities and autocast spells, so unless you can run around and stay out of melee range/safespot him I don't think you'll be able to kill him unless you can punch him to death.

 

Can you cast spells without a staff in rs3? If so just use entangle/bind and water spells on him. Perhaps even switch to legacy mode for the fight if it works like that.

Well that's kinda dumb as I thought you could cast spells without a staff in legacy mode but apparently you can't. :/

 

I would now give Fareed a shot with a staff and entangles definitely possible in 07 without it removing your weapon since it's not instantly off

 

To do it without gloves you can't use a weapon (eg no staff) and cast manually from the spellbook. If Fareed hits you and you are weilding a staff/weapon, it will go back to your inventory.

 

What happens if you fill up your inventory entirely?

 

Drops to the ground i'd assume.

 

Well there is no way I'm going to get 50 mining on 10 accounts, so I did research and it looks like spell casting with an offhand book/orb may still work. I'll get back to you all on this

Getting Ice Gloves isn't too hard to do TBH. As long as you have 50 mining you can get to her without having started Heroes.
