Best recommended role for climbing your rank.

Any thoughts/opinion/facts on which is the best role for quickly climbing up your current role? let's say for example, I'm on Silver to Gold.

There must a very effective way of some professionals out there.

Any advice/tips or etc will be really taken and noted!

I'm same position as you and people always tell me to play snowball champions.

Also, try to main 1/2 roles (in case one of them gets taken) and play 2-3 champs per role to help learn the role better.

 

Mid arguably has the most pressure on the game and is easiest to snowball the hole map with if you can play it right. Champs like hecarim and irelia are also great since the meta is in favor of these high damage bruisers. I'd say steer clear of bot lane if you aren't duo since you can't rely on your lane partner to be good. Jungle can hard carry early game, and with devourer buffs coming next patch, odds are next patch master yi, xin zhao and shyvana are gonna be a tier above every other champ in the game.

 

Id say que with a partner who knows whats going on. You have a better chance of winning when you decrease the moron element from your team.

 

I would say duo with someone you know will do good and then play mid/jungle and get him to camp you, or the other way around.
When you have a few kills on the midlaner, start roaming and get the other lanes ahead with the jungler, that seems to be pretty good.

Not actually true.

DuoQ is only more effective if you and your duo are significantly better than the elo you're in, and can hard carry. I.e, challengers duo'd in diamond, or plats in silver, etc.

Statistically speaking, soloQ is more efficient.

 

Yeah usually when i que up with someone they are a grade or 2 above me so it significantly helps my cause.

ot: Id advice watching league matches and really pay attention to their map control and vision. Csing usually just takes practicing but vision/map control is always key to win/loss ratio's in my experience. Learning power spikes and timers will come with experience.

Why? You cut the costs of having the worst troll/trash player in the game on your team down from 4/9 to 3/8.

 

I would say just find a few champions you are good at and enjoy playing. Playing support you might get screwed over by a bad adc or something but I've known a person to climb from gold - diamond 2 playing only Thresh. Most played champ - Thresh - 385 games, next most played champ Braum - 23 games. I suck horribly at mid, but can play jungle/adc really well. Just find whatever you like to play and are good at and play that for a while and you will eventually climb. In my opinion anyways.

 

There ain't really a recommended role, but I would say champions that can carry and have snowball potential, as a jungle Shaco that climbed from Bronze 1 to Plat 1 with ONLY Shaco, I would say yes it's doable, cost me around 250 games with around a 30 game win surplus.
