Illustration, Rate?

So I made this for a client, just yesterday. This was my 3rd time doing illustration, am not a pro or anything like that with it. So I'd like to know how I would really improve, heres the picture.

Im no pro at illustrator but with the picture itself the hand is a bit weird. Like the gaps between each finger looks tiny bit too big. Also his lips look a bit off i think you need to make it a bit wider and thinner. Other than that it looks cool.

His hand looks like it's the size of his head and the blurring/smudging/blending around the edges definitely needs some work. I do like it though, it looks clean and vibrant, and the illustration is really well done. 6/10 not bad, keep it up,

 

Make the same hand sign and you will notice the gaps from your index to your pinky finger.

I like the illustration. It reminds me of the chance the rapper. I have two question though. Why is the mustache (at least that's what I think it is) brown, and the chin hair black? And why does he have teal nailpolish? :c

Besides the hair looking a little outta place, it's still a nice illustration. 7/10

 

Fades on the sides can be done better, they look sloppy. Lips are just Hair shouldn't be done with the same tool you used to fade the sides. The two buck teeth, was that a request of his? If it wasn't then I would try and change that. Other than that it's ok. 6/10

The illustration looks good at first glance. However, as others have said, the hand is a little strange, and the lips appear a bit too large.

This aside the image is good, I would focus on the characters emotion as I'm not quite sure how to interpret it. It doesn't appear threatening or calm I'm just not sure what to make of it from the message it's trying to imply.

 

I'm assuming that this is a vector made in illustrator it's not bad. I do find the edge smudging effect a little strange how it sort of goes down a level and then is cut off completely at the edges. There's a gap at the bottom left and it needs to be made more circular at the bottom IMO. The hair looks a little unnatural, too.

If you've got the Ai file send it over if you can (somehow?) and I'll show you what I'm getting at.

 

The lips look really out of place with their detail that the rest of the piece lacks

 

The blur on the sides isn't very good and his lips are a little bit overdone and are looking bigger than it has to be. I would rate at 5/10.
