Will my main get banned due to botting on other accounts?

I have botted on a couple accounts in the past and each got perm banned. I have also botted on my main and received a 2 day ban as a result(offense has expired). Now I am thinking of setting up a few low level bots. What is the likely hood that my main will be banned even if I do not bot on it directly? My main is almost maxed and its definitely not worth risking a perm ban for a few gp.

 

To be safe I would buy a VPS if you really don't want to risk it.

I personally have had over 200 accounts (bots) banned on my main's regular IP. Knock on wood, they haven't done anything to my main.
I once heard this:
Take for example a university. If multiple people play RuneScape on the same network at that university, and one person bots, does Jagex ban all of them? No. For this reason, they do not ban via similar/identical IP's. It's even in their terms and conditions that they do not.

 

If you want to be sure not getting banned then reset your mac adress or get a VPN.

 

I was botting on ONE noob account and was sharing the account with a friend. It was russian roulette on whos main they were going to ban. Jagex noticed that money was being transfered to the dude's main i was sharing with and got perm banned along with the botted account. Best bet as said above is VPN to be safe.

Tbh I don't think they would touch your main by using bots on other accounts. If you're paranoid about it then just use a vps for the bots.

 

Personally, I've been botting on several accounts (even my main), where I've been banned on some of them but not my main. I guess there is a slim chance as people suggest. If you don't wanna risk it, just leave botting (which i did).
