New currency

Whats ur opinion about the new currency? (1000coins=1 of this token thing)

how will it affect the prices of gwd items etc?

 

Well it is coming out tomorrow, so we will find out. It seems like they will be very useful though. Now people wont have to buy elysians to do big stakes. Time for people to panic sell their expensive items lol.

Yeah exactly like them except shards were 25 coins each and these are 1000 coins each so you need a lot less of these.

And @OP, I think 1k is overkill, and it has already drastically decreased a ton of pvm items value.
Inb4peopleaskwhy; Stakers use mainly gwd items/elys/arcanes and what not in bulk to hold their wealth, now that there's a new 'shard' they won't need to.

 

Shards were basically made because of items being over the max cash in runescape, as far as i know there arent any items over max cash in osrs so i dont see the point...

No, they were made for summoning lol. There are multiple people with multiple max cash stacks, why not give them an option to store it more easily?

 

Eager to see what this does to prices, don't want boss items to be made redundant though.

 

I think boss items may increase due to players not needing to hoard them for currency.

 

Well I hope it doesn't drop prices. Lets see how the token thing works out (I kind of wish they just brought shards back just cause of how nice it looked to have them).

Just a great update for stakers, and for people who buy high valuable items in bulks.

Why don't they just increase the max cash stack? Maybe update it to like 6B or something, idk.

 

Still think shards looked better and at least served an in game purpose.
