    Help with pre-paid cards

Im somewhat new to different forms of payments. And someone is offering me a prepaid credit card form walmart. Is there anyway this is a scam and/or he could scam me? Like a charge back or something similar.

    Thanks for the help :D

    Help with pre-paid cards

If the card was obtained fradulently it is possible for the card to get cancelled/disabled by the merchant.

For any giftcard you should contact the merchant and ask them if it is possible for a giftcard to be reported lost/stolen or if it is possible to return a giftcard.

At the least you should ask for a receipt showing the balance on the gift card and have the Sythe member write their username on the receipt.

EDIT: To secure a giftcard after you purchase it, you can spend all the money on the card ASAP, then return everything for a new giftcard separate from the original.

Giftcards are actually more risky than Paypal because the original payment source isn't nearly as transparent. I'd be very weary when accepting prepaid cards.
