While yes it is bad, unfortunately people do scam. I'm sorry to hear what happened; however, at the end of the day you did all you can do. You ensured this guy is who he says he is, you did everything right, and he scammed you. You have to realize that the money is likely gone forever and you'll have to move on. He'll be banned from Sythe. I've been scammed a couple times, and it really does suck, but some people don't have the best of character unfortunately :\
Don't cry man, money comes and goes, just work your way up again. And look for the good side of things: You learned a very important lesson, and you won't make the same mistake, next time you'll use a MM on a big trade like that.
It really sucks, but what do you gain from quitting? Nothing. There are tons of services here on Sythe that can help you make that money back in no time. Whether it may be working for a questing or skilling service or even starting your own. Tons of things that don't require you to invest anything in other than time. Instead of spending your time complaining, you can start back up. Look at it as a learning experience.

Don't feel bad for you AT ALL. I tried to buy a measly 50m from you and you called me a "faggot". No sympathy. You should have done your research and used your head. You decided to trade someone who was inactive for 2+ years and 4 months respectively and let him pressure you into a trade. Very common signs of a scam. Take this as a learning opportunity and be more vigilant. Next time you call someone a hateful slur, you should remember that karma is a bitch.
Sorry to hear. It's understandable that you're in denial, but there's no point to cry over it. Although it may be hard to accept, there's nothing you can do. The only option is to move on. Keep your head up and take it as a learning experience.
Get your post count up and sell your signature to gold sellers/swappers, that brings in about $30-40 a month if you have 1k post count. It'll slowly build up but in that mean time it give you motivation to start a service of some kind to build that money back up. Best of luck to you
