Arizer Solo is the best investment I've made in terms of smoking devices. Seriously an amazing device.

 

I recently got into smoking Hookah, I go to Hookah bars with my friends the past couple of weeks and they seem like a bunch of fun. I haven't gone recently because they give you a plastic tip to put your mouth on and to me it upsets my stomach when I smell the cheap plastic. Is there anyway I can somehow fix this?

 

You have a few options:
1. Buy your own hookah: It's really not as expensive or complicated as people think it is. You can get whole good hookah rig for about $100 or even less. It's fun to have friends over at your house and just chilling smoking hookah.
2. Bring your own tips. Now you can't get over the whole tip part because it's a sanitary precaution and most hookah lounges won't allow you to smoke without using it and I don't blame them, you should see how some Americans put that shit in their mouth, they straight up devour it it's disgusting. If you experiment with different types of tips then you can find one you like. This is actually the first time I have ever heard of someone saying that the tip actually SMELLS. I would suggest leaving that place and never going back because they're selling you some garbage.
3. Bring your own disposable hookah rod. These things cost less $5 each and can be used up to 10 times. Just make sure to ask the bar you're going to beforehand if you're allowed to use your own rod.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. But to be completely honest I think that plastic tip smelling bad is only that single place you've been to because I have never even smelled the plastic and I've been smoking hookah for over 10 years. i think vapping/eating is the way to go in terms of health.I used to smoke joints with tabacco and the high was different compared to smoking pure grass.I just stick to pure now.Feels way more natural

 

I am actually looking to pick up a bong. Any mid-priced suggestions ($30 - $40)

As for hookah I have a mya petite.

 

Head down to your nearest head shop and have a look. Around here you could get a small decent straight shooter at a variety store for $30-40.

 

Hookah/vaping isn't really my thing. Fun to mess with though, I just stick to smoking bud
