I usually go for a run just about every day, helps me relieve stress plus it just feels good to get some fresh air throughout the day. Lately though I've been getting sick of the music I listen to because I've listened to it for so long, and I don't like using Pandora because it won't allow me to specifically pick a song. (I need a song to give me an adrenaline rush to keep me running) So if you have any good suggestions please feel free! I prefer songs with no lyrics so I don't get wrapped up into singing the song rather than focusing on my run.

I usually listen to a mixtape/album I haven't heard in a while. This helps me know how long into a running session I am, because of the knowledge I have of the length of the "playlist".

I also like to listen to things without lyrics, because yes, I find myself trying to focus on running more than singing along. But over the years I learned to kind of just zone out and focus on my running rather than focusing on the words.

Sometimes to avoid hearing lyrics, I use Digitally Imported's stations on their app. Every so often there are ads, but it still helped me when I was craving music with no lyrics to run to
