Guthans NMZ Afking Questions

Okay I have a few questions about guthan nmz afking, I have done a bit of it on my main but still have a few questions.

How long would it take to get from 70/70/70 to 99/99/99?
How many points would you get?
How much would all the repairs cost if I took it to Bob in Lumridge?
What quests are needed?

If you have any answers or tips it would be greatly appreciated if you shared them with me!

 

70/70/70 to 99/99/99 is 12.3M xp on controlled. You will likely get around 15k/hr averaged out, which is 820 hours or 137 sessions at 6 hr/per.
If you can do 3 sessions/day it will take around a month and a half, 2 sessions/day will take around 2 and a half months. So you'll be looking at a ~2 months timeframe.

Each session should give around 180k points, so you'll probably end up with close to 25 million NMZ points.

Repairs will probably be around 15-20M total, cheaper if you have a decently high smithing level and repair at a POH instead.

The quests you need are: What Lies Below, Vampire Slayer, Tree Gnome Village, Lost City, and Haunted Mine.

So do you think this is worth it how much would an account with 99/99/99 stats be worth?
Would this destroy my computer keeping it on almost 24/7?
Is there anything I could invest into that would help me too run accounts almost all the time? I don't know much about these but could a vps help?

 

Whenever you need repairs, if you don't have an armour stand in your POH, you should go to world 330 yanille portal, look for a host and repair your armor in his stand. This is way cheaper than Bob in lumbridge.

 

Yeah I realise this, is it better then Bob even with 1 smithing? I believe the higher your smithing lvl the less it costs too repair your barrows armour.

 

Maxed melee accounts are in the ballpark of 150M, more or less depending on your reputation. I only think it would be worth it to train multiple accounts at once.

Running your computer all day would probably kill it, and using a VPS instead would probably be useful for doing this but that's not my area of expertise so I really have no clue haha

 

Yes the cost lowers the higher your smithing. But yes even at lvl 1 is a little bit cheaper.

 

1. Takes around 2-4 months (10-12K an hour as of me training myself)

2. Like 70k points

3. Take to armour stands on world 330 (Costs me 450k at 1 smithing)

4. Haunted Mine, What Lies Below, Tree Gnome Village, Lost City, Vampire Slayer

You think I would only get 70k points from 70/70/70 to max, or is that how many you get each run? I doubt you would get that little amounts, another post said I would get around 25m pts from maxing.

 

Yeah, you could also probably do Knight's Sword to get you a quick 30 smithing and that would save you a few mil in the long run.

 

Yeah, that's a very nice idea, will definitely complete some quick quests that give smithing xp, will help in the long run. I could also complete both Elemental Workshop quests for an extra 12,500 smithing xp on top of the 12,725 xp from The Knight's Sword. This would get me to around 36 smithing which would help save some gp.

Also if I only completed the quests needed to AFK NMZ would this result in me not needing a host which would saving money?

 

Each run approx at 70/70/70. Will increase as you level up. You die after a while with 70 stats

I didn't realise this as I haven't tried it at 70/70/70 more 90+ area.

How long do you usually last? And what lvl do you begin to last the whole 6 hours?

 

Yeah, it would be a good idea to get as many easy smithing levels as you can. Every 2 levels saves you approx 1% in repair costs.

As for the quests, if you can get 70-70-70 by doing just those quests, then go for it. You can self-host, saving a lot of money especially if you're dced or something.

Also, remember to buy herb boxes every day to recoup some of your costs.

 

Yeah, the herb boxes are definitely the best thing to buy but it would take a very long time to spend all the points I accumulate over the months, I will definitely buy them every day though until I max out then I will probably just spend the rest of the points on the 2nd best thing which is pure essence I believe?

I will also just do the quests needed to run the nmz dream. There might be a few other quests that I could complete that won't effect my nmz dream, I don't think the waterfall quest would effect it as there is no boss you have to kill. If there is any other quests that I could do for some quick melee xp that won't do effect my nmz dream then tell me as it would be very helpful!

Incorrect, if he's only completed the 5 quests then he can self host.

Ensure that you don't do any extra quests with bosses (ele workshop and knights sword is fine)
Self hosting saves you a decent amount of money aswell as it is easier to do.

Takes a while. I'd bot it but if you don't want to bot it do some of the attack quests listed below then afk crabs to 60/X/60 then afk spiders to 70/70/70
