What are the benefits/disadvantages of using Skrill over Paypal?

I've recently verified my Skrill account, what are the best ways to protect my account and it's funds from theft?

How would you compare the chargebacks of Skrill users to those of Paypal users? e.g. 1:10, 1:50?

 

From what i have heard Skrill is much safer than paypal.They approve digital trades.People say that chargebacks are easier to win plus there are less of them compared to paypal.

 

I've heard the same things but I would like some specific details or examples of a case from some users if possible!

 

Honestly, chargebacks are possible just like with PayPal, however many people don't know how to do it, it's also not worth it as the process is more complicated than with PayPal.

As for account protection, common sense measures: Don't log in from infected computers, keep your PCs / Laptop in good condition.

As far as I'm aware, there is no 2-step verification for Skrill.

I've used Skrill for 4+ years, never had a single chargeback, never had any other issues either. I also use their Skrill Card which also works smoothly for me.

PS: If you are paranoid and have an iPhone you can download the official Skrill iPhone app and use that for all your transactions. If you don't download crap to your iPhone and don't plug it into unknown computers, you can rest absolutely assured that your iPhone will never be infected with anything.
