Ban retarded goldsellers

I suggest banning retarded goldsellers that constantly false advertise.

Theres clearly told they pay with skrill .. guess what, not gonna happen. Price, 2.2$~, fuck that .. best they can do .. 1.6

This shit has been going on since forever, and its fucking annoying to add all goldsellest and ask prices every time, cus they dont even fucking change it after you tell them or mention that, they just dont give a fuck.

Thats just like, u see a commercial that items costs 5$, u go to the shop and see, boom! .. 8$, and if u ask to change price, they just ignore you.

So, fuck you all goldsellers/buyers that do that and die in hell.

Looks like you might be confusing the selling/buying prices they have listed.

Everyone has to make a dollar in the world, no one's begging you to buy/sell your gold anyways. On the other hand, to have a business on Sythe such as selling gold, there should be a contribution towards Sythe if you plan to expand your business as a career (donators such as Bogla, Arcus, Alex2012, etc). There are gold sellers who just mooch off of Sythe who don't donate, have an avatar, participate in other forums, NOTHING.

 

People have a right to buy and sell property at whatever rates they wish to do so.

My suggestion, ban users who make useless and space-consuming threads without giving things a second thought.

 

That's not the point OP is making. When you look at large goldshop's threads and titles, their prices are listed at far more favorably than they ever intend to offer in order to draw in customers.

Of course, the customer is free to refuse the offer, but it's very clearly intentional that gold shops advertise prices in their titles that they do not plan to offer anything close to.

 

I edited their post. In the future you can just report any misleading post/thread title and a mod will change it

 

Of course every large seller of anything buys in bulk and buys cheap, then from there they set the prices that you buy that product at because they control the large share of the market.

That rule works with everything from gold buyers and resellers to walmart or any other retail place you have ever been to IRL.

 

Yeah, I suppose it's a bait and switch tactic, but you have to do it in order to remain competitive unfortunately.

I have to agree with this dude. It is quite obnoxious how they claim they are buying for X1-X2 amount (real price is X1 - 25), will beat all competitors (within reason of course), etc. This is not to say that I haven't met any more honest gold resellers, it's really just the 'top' ones that have been around the longest that are most guilty of this, and have no regret about their sales tactics.
I hate to say the 'die in hell' is a little extreme though.

 

If the commercial price of an item is $5 and a shop is selling for $8 that isn't rare or unreasonable. You have to factor in profit margins and labour costs.

Please don't reply saying there are no labour costs in RS selling/buying because a lot of the large sellers like Arcus has multiple employees, has website server costs and advertising costs to pay before he even thinks about profit. I don't support this suggestions (and tbqh it's more of a outlet than a suggestion).
