Of this happening like after watching this I'm scared as hell to go In another arm wrestle or even wrestling match I just want to get some opinions like is it fake like 1 in a billion chance or what

Wow...ouch. Probably the least unexpected activity to break your arm as you are in control and don't expect it. Could it be that he was doing it wrong or something?

It's actually not very common. But there is a higher chance with improper technique. You shouldnt worry too much

It is defiantly real but there is a very slim chance of that happening.

When I was in high school there was an arm wrestling competetion and someone had their arm broke in front of the school.

 

I've watched a video of two girls arm wrestling and one of the arm/forearm which i forgot dislocated. it was scary to watch but this is... ouch

I don't know why half the kids engage in arm wrestling to see who is strongest. It's stupid and most of the time, someone uses external things to support themselves (that classic bend of the wrist by one of the arm wrestlers?). It doesn't say anything about strength and it can be dangerous as you can see. If you want to see who is strongest, go to the gym -- what is this garbage, don't waste your time or arm.

 

Vice actually wrote an article on this exact thing. Apparently it's more common than you'd think. I certainly wouldn't expect it.
