been banned from trading and the market!

i was recently banned from steam only the trading and steam market privileges recently someone charged back there paypal money and charged back the money i deposited on steam and every time i send in a ticket they say i must contact paypal and speak to the person who chargebacked but it was so long ago and i forgot who the guy was what can i do to get unbanned.? will pay if someone can help me out

 

Why do YOU get banned when some OTHER guy did a chargeback from you? Or did he put funds on your account with his PayPal?

 

They don't really care it's STEAM :/

 

I don't need to get paid I'll just give you general advice.

Contact steam support explain the situation, last time steam support just unlocked my account for me. You may need to pay back the funds that were refunded to steam, just explain the situation to them fully.

Sadly they take 24hrs-4 weeks to reply. BEST OF LUCK MATE!

Could be becos, guy sent money to OP, OP uses the money he received from the guy on steam, guy chargedback.

 

no the guy used his pp account for me on it i was stupid at the time ahaha

 

There is no way you got banned because he charged back your paypal. Soon as you deposited money on steam, the only way it can be reversed is by YOU doing a chargeback (Hence the new update on refunds through steam). Unless you let the guy have access to your account and he used his paypal on it than charged back, which seems a bit far fetched.

 

well it was like last year before i came to this site i let him use it and he chargedback what can i do i got like 600$ in items on dota2

You're pretty fucked tbh. You pretty much let this guy have the ability to get you banned whenever he wanted.

I suggest calling up PayPal via telephone to explain the situation, and getting a written e-mail from them explaining the situation, then contact Steam Support with this.

Or just pay back the money.
