Stake whatever you want as long as you're not actually spending real money on it.

 

Yeah, it's unfortunately very addictive. Trick is knowing when to stop, I personally stop once I'm around 50M+ profit, or if i'm on a 3-5 loss streak I just stop before I rage stake.

If you do plan on going staking, just use the same tactics you would use if you were going to a casino in real life. Just only bring a certain amount of money with you, and once it's gone, stop staking. There's only so much you can do without having any self control.

 

Go all in, you'll double your bank.

 

turn ur cash into items and start merching. Once you start making money with that you'll have less incentive to stake/less workable cash.

 

Stake maybe 10% of your bank, and make sure you stay true to it.

If you have 40M, do 500k-1Ms, until you get down to 36M (lose 4m). If you lose the 4M, go make it back at Wyverns or something.

to stop, i would just start skilling and banking supplies that i would need for certain skills. The less cash you have gives me less interest in staking, atleast for me

 

It's all a matter of self control. Just know that you will eventually get cleaned if you can't stop (even more likely considering you are staking with non-maxed stats). Just find something else to do - what else do you enjoy doing in RS?

If you haven't wasted any money irl, and are actually up 10M from your starting bank, then what brings you to the conclusion that you're losing?

When you feel the need to express something like this, then the above just cannot be the case.

I'd say the fact of the matter is, you keep spending irl to loose in-game. Most likely, you've spent all you've got doing it at a stretch and now you don't know what to do so you've created a post on sythe.org about it.

I've had friends go through similar issues, but with actual gambling and not runescape. The first step is to acknowledge your problem, admit it to someone your can open up to in your family, and have someone you trust take over access to your funding.

If you want bullshit, post bullshit. If you want to know how to get out of your hole then you need to be honest, with yourself mostly.

 

Never gamble anything you're not prepared to lose. Think of it as paying for an experience.

But never stake anything you'd be upset if you lost in hopes of 'making money.' That never works out. The only way to really make money from gambling is having good odds.
