Remember mod mat K confirmed once when he posted his bank vid that his wealth was indeed fake.

He just posted a video of alching an elysian spirit shield, arcane, third age, and blowpipes. I think the videos are all fake.

 

It must be very hard to edit those vids to look real, but it's a possibility..

It's BRUTALLY fake. Here's a gif of me turning a shark into a third age plate body in a couple of seconds:

Everything that says 'shark' will be replaced by the word '3rd age platebody', including when he tries to alch it (if the item he's alching is worth more than 500k/1m, so he gets a confirmation message before he alchs).

So for example, if he uses cheat engine to turn dragon platelegs into a 3rd age platebody, even when he alchs that item, it will say 'are you sure you wish to alch third age platebody?' and show a picture of it, although the real item is dragon platelegs.

Tl;Dr He probably lost about 5-6M aching those items, claiming to have lost 1-2B or however much the items add up to, to help to 'promote' his site.
The items were things like dragon platelegs or some low value item that gives a warning message when you alch it.

 

This. Smite, Fishy, etc have been caught faking bets and giveaways so many times over the past four years.
