Find totalbiscuit the cynical brit on youtube. He does a video going over the steam sales every day and giving his insight and recommendations.

I always watch them. I buy some and then write some down to buy or download later.

I've really wanted to play Shadow of Mordor. I might pick it up knowing it's on sale.
