Wow this homeless man sounds like a great person and pretty much speaks how it is.

Puts things into perspective. Maybe people who see this will think twice the next time they see a homeless person walking the streets. Don't be scared, be sympathetic. Not every homeless person you see on the streets is there because of drugs, which really seems to be the perceptional stigma surrounding the homeless.

It's hard to build your life back up after serving time. Do you want a job? Sorry, you have a criminal background. Do you want housing? Sorry, you have a criminal background. Do you want relationships and acquaintances? Well you spent time in prison, there must've been a good reason for that.

It really makes me think how good myself and others have it.

Most of the homeless people in Chicago do it for a job. You probably think im joking, but there was an article and it was estimated they made like 200-$300 a day. So people's jobs are to act homeless. Kinda sad.
