Need Recommendations for Laptop

I am looking at upgrading from my old laptop and not necesarilly sure what to get. Currently I have a hard time running RS3 at all on my current laptop and it is quite annoying not being able to even run that properly.

What are some good recommendations from you guys for a 500-650$ range.

I was looking at some brands like the lenovos budget gaming laptops. The y50 is just out of my price range. Any other decent ones?

Just need to be able to run around 3 runescape accounts at full graphics at a time without much lag and I will be happy. And not have to buy a new laptop in 1-2 years to just play runescape.

My current laptop is a hp pavilion dv5.

 

desktop is always better than a laptop

you can upgrade , salvage parts for new build, and get better specs for cheap than a laptop

I recommenced building a PC. It can be expensive sometimes, but that's why you need to plan out your build and prioritize what components are the most important.

Well few things to say here.

PC - Desktop

Laptop

Good thing about laptop is if you want to go round a friends house and play the same game or a different game you can take your laptop with you.

- Laptop it's self is portable so lying on the bed or going to the living room you can bring it with you making life easier.

Bad thing is that charging laptop can always be annoying / frustrating.
- Can overheat making it a problem for all your components to cooldown before overheat. ( Can purchase a board / cooler to place your laptop above )

So really it's up to you. I personally would suggest to build your own PC. There are videos all over youtube to teach you to put the components in.

Pretty much what everyone else said, build your own desktop. It's not nearly as complicated as you'd think.

That computer should run Runescape without a hassle. I don't know about 3 accounts though, but maybe (probably).

 

You can buy an Acer laptop with an i5 and a lower end graphics card for $500-$600. I bought one with an 840m and can play Bf4 online pretty easily. Some higher end games struggle but I think it is incredible value. Resolution is 1366x768 but I don't think it's too bad.

any laptop with 5th generation i5 will do fine.

 

I'd get something with a dedicated mobile graphics card tbh. Let me pull something up.

 

It will run 3 accounts, I am running on same specs with i-7 and a slightly better graphics card. I can run 6 accounts no lag and browse the web quickly.

Even Runescape 3 though? I know Oldschool Runescape puts way less stress on a computer, but Runescape 3 has pretty high requirements for full graphics, right?

Good point, I was thinking in 07 terms.

The most I've ever done with an rs3 client is two windows and two windows of 07 open together, no lag. Could probably push it more on mine that would be your limit on an i5.
