Two Factor authentication stopped working

Hi,

So whenever I try to login on my computer it says the two factor code was incorrect. Ive synced the google app but it still comes up with the same error.

Could a mod or admin remove the authenticator from my account or reset it or something?

 

Is your phone's time/clock set to synch automatically? If its more than 30 seconds out when manually set the codes will expire.

 

Yes everything is set to sync automatically

 

Run me through how you set it up and what you're doing to log in?

 

I set it up exactly the way I was told via the sythe website. It worked before but suddenly it doesnt. Could it be because I cleared cookies/history on chrome?

I log in the old fashioned way just put in my details, enter the image verification and then my google auth code.

 

Shouldn't be related to cookies/history no..

Did you keep the long removal code?

 

I feel ashamed to say I havent, I kinda went with the "oh this never happens to me" mentality
