If it is overly expensive then you have been doing it wrong.

 

Been thinking of buying a nice vape for a while, but meh.. i don't know if i should.

I used like a vape pen to quit smoking cigarettes, had habit for 4+ years took 1 week of vaping then quit the vape, never touched nicotine since.

 

Just got a Smok Xpro M80 Plus and a Kanger Subtank-Nano to move up from my shitty E-Go Twist that I sat on and totally stripped the threading on. Really enjoying it so far.

 

Mixed up a pretty bomb juice yesterday.

10% Belgain Waffle
5% Bavarian Cream
~3% French Vanilla
~3% Banana Cream
~65/35 VG/PG (Roughly. I don't exactly measure my VG/PG. I normally measure my flavors, then fill as desired.)

Came out really tasty

 

budget around 100-200$, and don't mind any really just 1 that last mvp use to last 4-5 days now 24-48 hours max :/

 

Okay, here are some options.

First there is the ipv3 150 watt plus and Sigelei 150 watt. They're very nice high wattage mods, even if they're a few months old they work perfectly. Only problem is these mods don't have temperature control, which is a nice feature in a lot of newer mods.

You could also go with an ipv4, its 100 watts (165 watt free software upgrade coming). It also has temperature control and a removable battery cover so you don't have to keep unscrewing it. Its the mod that I'm mainly using at the moment. It has some quality control issues though, the screen is dim in the sun and it feels a bit cheaper than the ipv3 and sigelei 150 watt even though it has better features. They're going for as cheap as $70 right now so might be a good choice.


Now with all of those options you'll want a 4 bay 18650 battery charger, and 2-4 18650 batteries to fill it. Any of those setups will be within your $100-200 range.


Now if you want to creep just above your budget there is the SX Mini M class, which is a small 60 watt device with rave reviews. Good temperature control, great build quality, etc. The main issue is if you want to go above 60 watts you'll need an extension tube that protrudes from the bottom and looks a little silly. Overall a great device, just more on the $200 side plus charger and batteries.

Do you guys have any recommendations on your favorite juice? I don't vape enough to move into making my own juice, but I'm having trouble find a flavor or brand I "love".

What kind of juice are you into?

 

I really like fruity flavors, but not sickly sweet. I have a strawberry lemonade flavor from NicQuid called daydreamer that I really like, as well as another honey custard esque flavor from Cyclops Vapor called Colossus that is solid.

I ordered Starburst and Dr. Pepper juice from bx vapor that's supposed to be in tomorrow, but I was looking for some more recommendations so I could go ahead and pick up a few juices to see what I like best.

 

Try force vapor, N3ct4r, buckshot vapors, or clutch vapors.

They're all brands my local shop stocks and I've liked a lot of the flavors.

Hard to pick for other people, there are also subscriptions like zamplebox that they'll send you random discounted ejuices that meet your flavor profile.

 

What's a really good fruity flavor?

I doubt I'll be going any higher than my sigelei 150w in the foreseeable future. Up to this point I've only had a couple builds even capable of properly utilizing anything much higher than 120 or so.

 

I don't anticipate using 200w often. But its a nice device with a removable battery cover and superb temp control.

Not sure if you've dipped your feet in with TC but its so nice on the ipv4. You can adjust joules (power output, aka how fast it begins producing vapor and how much) and temperature in c/f so you can have a cool, warm, or hot vape.
