Sold a virtual game account to a trusted website and they disputed and I won the case

So i sold a runescape account to a very trusted website who get a lot of service, they decided to charge me back but I provided proof of my emails with him showing that he has control of my account so i ended up winning the case because of that and because paypal don't cover virtual goods, they still have control of my account but since they tried to charge back i really want to recover the account back on them as they tried to scam me. I won the case a few days ago, if i recover the account back can they appeal the case and make me pay back their money? the only reason i'm doing this is because they're a big website and they tried to scam me which i was not pleased about. So if you guys can help me out and tell me what would happen if i recovered the account back?

Once a PayPal dispute is finished, there is no going back, unless they contact their bank, in which case its 50/50. Depends on which bank they use.

I would recover your account back, what Priscilla says is right, after a Paypal dispute, unless they go their bank, there is nothing they can do.

You would be safe. Which site did you use to sell your account?

No you would not be safe, if they manage to recover their funding and your account goes into negative, your $85 negative gets given to a debt collection agency and that will effect your credit and will severely hurt you in the scheme of things.

I hope you get this resolved.

so what would you guys recommend me to do? if i do recover, i would have 85$ and the account the only way he could charge back is go to their credit card company, would their credit card company make me pay them back for intangible and virtual items?

Your money is now 100% safe. I've worked with PayPal for 10 years now so I'm very familiar with this. Go ahead and try to recover the account, screw them For scamming. You might just get your account back with an $85 profit!

They straight up tried to steal his account for no payment. The same thing happened to me when I sold my account years ago, except that time they got away with the money and the account. It's incredibly wrong for such a popular site to be scamming like that, and really for anyone to be scamming. They need a taste of their own medicine.

They are just going to resell that account to someone else and eventually recover it. You want some innocent kid to get scammed? No. Recover the account to prevent that.
