Thinking of starting up my bot again..

I used to help manage " scionbot " back in the day. (2010 - 2011). I'm thinking of getting it up again and making it an open-source bot, just like it used to be. Now, if I did this, do you guys think it would really go anywhere, or would it probably just die? And I've got 3 of my strong developer buddies doing their homework in trying to figure out an Anti-Ban system for RS3. Post here, and let me know what you think would happen. :love:

 

Tbh any bots goes well if the ban rates for it's client and scripts are good. I don't think RS3 botting is very popular though, it is very difficult (high ban rates). If you could come up with a way to bypass the new ban system i'm sure your client would be popular.

 

There's alot of clients out these days, so good exposure would be good, as well trying something different as most of the clients out these days so the same stuff. As Duck said, if you can bypass the bot watch, then you'll definately have your bot back up and running very well.

 

I think thats really bad timing bud.In the last 2-3 months i was able to bot without any bans,running 15 accounts.Yesterday jagex posted that they are hiring more man power to fight cheating in general.Maybe its just a coincidence, but got 4 bans today, including mule with 200m.

 

Stay away from RS3 and work with private scripts. Thats your best bet.

Seems like RS3 not gonna let botters win again at any chance, as I haven't encountered any suspicious people while playing for 2 weeks now (just came back after 3 years).
They really have upped their detection system. I'm happy I've botted when you had much higher chance to get away with it lol
