    For a known fact, Lizard squad is hitting the servers offline for Aprox 2mins because they can't fully take it down.

    I feel as if Jagex is saying they're "fixing" the problem, but clearly not as you can see that there's >1k people online. If they should lie about saying they're doing something, it should be about bots imo.

    I think you guys are missing the point, they can't really do anything to defend from DDOS attacks, switching servers would do absolutely nothing.

    Do you really think if companies as large as Microsoft and Sony could do absolutely nothing to fend off the attacks during Christmas that Jagex can do anything?

    According to this article, Microsoft has over 300,000 servers to maintain xbox live, how many do you think Jagex has for runescape?!??!
