I don't usually try to 'get help' from others but hey, you never know
So, have any of yall felt like life is just pointless, and you kind of have a reason (whatever that reason is for you) to explicitly not want to live anymore?
Like just not be alive, not sure how else to put it

I just feel like every single thing is just no good

Used to feel that way years ago, it was mostly related to severe anxiety. Got some therapy and shit turned for the better. You should try to get help from professionals if you feel that way.

Look at your signature. Think of it this way. A good reason to stay alive is to see ass jiggle like that daily :)

Life gets dull sometimes, that's just a given. Unless you have some rock star fantasy life with tons of money and nothing to worry about ever. You should never want to end your life though, I suggest getting help from others, people who actually care of your well being. This site really gives great personal advice from what I've seen so far. As stated though man, you shouldn't want to end your life. I know you don't know me but I see myself as a counselor or a coach because I've been all the way to the bottom and I made it back up without harming myself or my well being but if you need someone to talk to because you have no one, feel free to give me a call on skype. I'll answer if I'm not busy.

    So

i felt that way one winter. was living extremely monotonously. i'd wake up, go to class, come home, do more school work, then go to sleep. i had no passion in my life and everything seemed bleak. you know, there's so much beauty in the world, and so much fun stuff to do and interesting people to meet, but man I felt fucking trapped; like i just wasnt able to experience any of it and that it was totally unaccessable from my current life. during any of my sparse free time, it felt like i had this giant weight on my shoulders saying i should studying or working on school or working at my job, which made me feel far away from everyone else. add to the fact that it was winter, where everything is cold, grey, and completely lacking sunshine, it got to me man. never been that unhappy in my life. my life was just passing me by and i really started to wonder what i was doing. i had completely dropped all of my hobbies, barely talked to friends, just went to class, studied and went to work.

so i decided to quit my job and got a new one, took some time off away from school, did some travelling, bought a dirtbike, spent less time on the computer and more outside, and suddenly everything started to really brighten up. i began noticing just how sweet everyday truly can be.

i heard a quote on the TV show Mad Men a not too long ago that kind of related to this: "if you dont like what is being said, change the conversation". I didn't like the way my life was going, so I changed it so I enjoyed it a helluva lot more. just gotta be willing to take some risks to do it.
