Ikov and Runescape ban rate?

what are the chances of playing IKOV on your free time and getting banned on the real game due to it.

Can jagex link your accounts?

can you get hacked on RS by using ikov?

is IKOV safe?

 

Jagex won't ban you for playing private servers. You can only get hacked on RS if you used your same password on RS that you sign up on Ikov for (I'd recommend using different passwords) and for what ever reason Ikov had a leak or something of that sort then yes but it is highly unlikely they are a pretty big server with some high end security I'd imagine.

 

0% chance. I've played private servers for years, never had a problem.

 

I'm near positive that you'll never get banned on 07 for playing Ikov unless you go advertising it on RS which would more or less be a separate issue since they ban for advertising pretty much anything. I'm sure Jagex isn't going to bother trying to figure out which of their players go onto RSPS either.

You CAN get hacked on RS by using Ikov but this is only if the database gets leaked or the server/website experiences other security issues. As long as you use completely separate information and a different password you should be fine. Ikov is safe as far as i'm aware because it has more players than any other current RSPS and i've not heard any complaints about security issues or people being hacked as a result of playing it.

YOu're perfectly fine, as far as i'm aware it's not actually against RS rules to play a private server but i think operating one is a little different.

Even still, shouldn't be making any connections.

 

They can't find out unless you go telling everyone in runescape about it. Also they have literally no way to trace them back nor do they care. Look at B0aty he played a pk server and they still praise him. You'll be fine.

Nah you should be fine they cant link accounts nor do they take the time xD they mainly care for botting / rwt

 

Jagex has better issues to worry about then finding people who play on RSPS. Just don't advertise Ikov in game, and don't use the same username/password on Ikov and RS. It'll prevent getting hacked in the event Ikov's database is ever cracked/leaked.

No chance - both are completely different games with two separate economies.

 

Pretty sure Ikov is safe because the owner bought the rights to his content which allows it to not be shut down by Jagex. Also you can't be banned for play RSPS.

That would be counter active to ban players playing Private servers. What Jagex wants is to bring those customers back into the real game.
