steam always locks my INV 7 days?

i want to gamble but everytime i go online to bet on CSGO i have to confirm my pin via email. For some reason it says i have changed locations and i cant trade for 7 days. Really annoying,can anyone help?

 

You keep switching computers, or using vpn's?

how are you going to tell me i keep logging in somewhere else. yea i totally just log in to a new computer everyday and download csgo on it... *sarcasm* Im pretty sure i stay at home when i play counterstrike.

 

Dude calm down they are just trying to help, no need to be so mean. Also you don't have to download CS on another computer in order for it to lock, if you just log into steam from another device than the computer the account will automatically trade lock.

 

It should give you a reason for your lock if you try to trade somebody or go to the market.

 

Trade with the Steam overlay or however it is called instead of using your browser.

 

Are you clearing your cookies? Does it happen the next day? What if you don't shut down your computer, does it still trade ban you for a week the next day? Sounds like you're using a browser, and my guess would be cookies. A temporary fix would be using the client. Open CSGO, Shift + tab, then go to web browser.

 

thanks yea i was using a browser to visit csgo gambling sites, i figured it was cookies tyvm!

 

When clearing your history always remember not to include cookies. A way to bypass the ban while waiting for the week would be to bet on Lounge, then when you receive the trade offer, accept it on the client assuming you aren't restricted from trading for a week. And glad I could help.
