A question regarding ban!

Hi guys, I not sure whether this is the correct section but I guess after reading the rules & regulation, didn't say I cannot ask about bans here.

So my question is quite simple:

Today I accidentally login my main using a bot client instead of a normal client. I have never ever botted with my main in my entire life before. I had heard stories that your account can get banned if you login a bot client even if you never bot before, so I am now afraid that would happen. I even saw 6 months delayed bans before...

So should not take the risk and transfer all my money to a mule so that at least I can save my cash? Or there is 100% chance that I won't be banned?

 

You won't get banned unless you bot. You can't get banned for using a bot-client.

This isn't true. They've confirmed on the HLF that logging into a bot client will flag your name in their system even if you weren't botting.

Getting banned for logging in detectable bot clients is almost immediate, I wouldn't worry about transferring.

Contrary to common belief, there are certain times where Jagex is able to detect botting clients. Even if you aren't botting on said client, they will ban you if they find you using it.

The likelihood of you getting banned is extremely low however, I don't think you should be worried about getting banned on this instance.

 

Its your choice to judge risk in terms of how much cash you have on the account. If its under a bill then I wouldn't worry about it esp if it was temporary. And I havent personally heard of 6 month delay ban

 

The chance of you getting banned is very minimal, but of course there has been reported instances of people saying that they have gotten banned for simply logging in on an botting client.

I would say overall that you don't need to worry.

It's not a 100% ban but hey, Also links can be made between accounts but you've just made it a lot easier now that's for sure lol.

Honestly transferring things would also really only provide another link to more accounts you own lol
