1,000 lives for millions?

Easily. 1,000 lives just to cure cancer? That's a dream. It would eventually save billions of people in the long run.

exactly you may be killing a thousand but you will be saving hundrads of millions of lives. But as Xjaa stated it does help with over population and without it, it could cause problems.
