Dry herb vaporizer - Under $100 - Need suggestions

Title. I need a dry herb vaporizer that's portable. Under $100 with decent quality. I'm looking for suggestions.

 

It's going to be difficult to find a portable vape that is under $100.

While not under a $100, I would totally suggest an Arizer Air. I researched a ton of vapes (under like 200, but didn't want to spend over like 150) and Arizer air came on top over the Pax/Magic Flight Box/Firefly/some others I cannot remember.

They retail at like $250, but you can get one off eBay from a certified seller. That's what I did and got one for $130.

- Battery life of an hour
- Removable/replaceable battery
- Small enough to fit in your pocket, but it does take glass stems
- Can buy attachments (such as water pipe) for it
- 5 heat settings
- Virtually no maintenance. The stem is the only thing that needs to be cleaned/wiped out. Actual chamber doesn't really get dirty and any excess herb will fall out if you turn it upside down.
-- No maintenance is the reason I picked it over the PAX (PAX 2 was also too pricey)
- Very little smell (great for stealth)

There is also a new vape pen that is not yet on the market. It got crowd funded a few months ago and I may pick one up when it comes out. It is the smallest dry herb vape you'll find.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm seeing them for $160 on ebay. I might check that out.

I see that it has a removable 18650 battery, which is a plus since I have about 10 for my e-cig mod.

 

If you're looking for something that's portable the Magic-Flight Launchbox is a decent vape. If you're not wanting to drop something like $250 on a pax, this one should do the trick.

My friend had one and the only hassle was that it would get gunked up quite a bit if you didn't clean it, so proper cleaning is a must.

For use, I generally start on the second setting and when I stop getting a substantial vapor I just move it up a setting.

The hottest setting doesn't burn your mouth at all and the device is not warm to the touch (well around the chamber it is, but hold it lower and you won't have a problem.)

Also, running it on the highest setting when you first get it will loosen the chamber and allow you to put the stem in easier.

Oh and I don't know if you vape a lot, but if you don't, you generally use less herb when vaping and you will likely not require a full chamber.

Its not a huge deal but how noticeable is the smell? In a room? On clothes?

 

Yeah no problem, hope you like it.

The actual device doesn't smell at all, the stems can smell like any other glass piece (probably slightly less, depends how you store the stems and whether you clean them after every use.)

Honestly I don't think the smell is noticeable at all. The biggest smell is from the actual herb when you load the stem, but in use, very minimal. Vapor itself is smell free so all the smell would originate from the herb. Since there is no combusting going on, it's minimal and some say the heating/ed smells like burnt popcorn.

After vaping I try and see if I can smell anything in my room and I never can, but I generally have a candle burning to mask it just in case (I have rents that are very against anything of the sort.) My hands don't smell, and neither do my clothes.

tl;dr it is very minimal, majority of the smell will be from the herb itself.
