I am quite uncertain as to why you would need to keep tabs on the account, and when it's being used or not, once the accounts sold?

Once it's sold. The buyer can then do with the account as they see fit.

 

I want to know for the sake of knowing what game is being played as I shared the library with another account and want to make sure I'm not going to intrude on their gaming if I try and launch whatever game that it is.
