Its been a while.. Recap?

So yeah i use to love playing rs a couple years ago, but ended giving it up because of reasons i can't remember (probably something like exam focus or something)

Anyway i'm bored and wanna get back into it but all this talk of rs3 has got me plain baffed is there still even a wildy lol?

Yes, there still is a wilderness. However, game dynamics have changed a crap ton. I would honestly just suggest to go take a look at it for yourself and play around a little bit. And I mean, if you don't like EoC, there's also now legacy mode and you could also play old school rs.

 

nope rs3 is dead, best thing is to go to 07 or try out new games such as CS:GO or LOL

 

rs3 is not dead ... it has almost the same exact playerbase as 07

 

rs3 is full of micro transactions, it's all about JaGeX making money

I'm afraid that if i try the RS3 then try the 07 I'll think "God damn these graphics are terrible" lool might even throw me off

But, i'm from a RS where you'd train strength pure's with 40 attack, buy your gear and armour from other players especially food '1k lobbies' i remeber buying in edgeville before going wildy. sigh good times

 

Yeah there is a wildy i would suggest to try 07, a lot more funnier for pking i think

 

I'll put it to you like this.

Things have constantly been nerfed/buffed with PvP, it annoys the shit out of me. I'm never one to really care how much change comes my way, i'll always adapt/just deal with it, but the amount of balancing and re-balancing done in this game truly irritates me. I came back to RS3 recently and i'm sort of just... indifferent at this point. Way too many servers and the game feels dead because of lack of unity. The only PvP you'll find is in CWS (yes, CWS) and WB. WB is stupid though and it's just the same old little group of fuck buddies stroking each others ego's about how good they are among themselves, zero diversity whatsoever, as everything's the same and there's quite literally no point in making any kind of build other than a main for PvP.

The only feeling I get is that Jagex is scrambling with RS3, and it sort of shows. They don't implement community feedback or ideas as much as people would like and most of the content they push is failed.

If you want a growing community, go to OSRS. I'm pretty much entirely done with this game, I don't feel like leveling or even playing anymore, but if I did, i'd go with OSRS. Devs. actually give a damn and it shows in the amount of player feedback that is implemented. (polls are better)
