    What would you do?

So i'm sure most of you know about runescape name sales.

Now I sell them and on my thread i've listed that name snipes are not my responsibility. (a name snipe is basically when i'm transferring the name to my buyer someone else somehow gets the name before the buyer - usually done with bots for rare names)

Anyways, I even told the buyer that its not my responsibility before we started the trade. And sure enough the name got sniped. According to the buyer. Now I don't want to make this tl;dr so i'll sum it up.

I have no proof if he is telling the truth or not, i'm not 100% sure about any of that. All I know is he is a US soldier(he has ID) and bought a name off me for an expensive price. I feel very bad he lost such a large sum of money (if he is indeed telling the truth) He could just be playing me and took the name on an alternative account.

What should I do? It's not my responsibility to refund but I still feel a bad about it.

    What would you do?

    You are a business man.

It was understood by both parties before any sale was made that there would be a risk involved.

He understood the risk when he bought the name.

You are not responsible, but I do commend you for your compassion. ^_^

He agreed to your TOS so he should know the risks involved.

He accepted your terms of service before beginning the deal, what is there to question about this matter?

I think it's always best to have them buy the account, and then it be their responsibility to transfer the name in their own time.
