looking to buy a pair of headphones, need help.

so im looking to buy a pair of headphones i went on cnet and found that the Sony Mdr-1A looks like a good pair.

the price is a little high but i think i can afford it. Are there any other sites that reviews headphones or anything? any input would be awesome. THanks!

audio technica headphones has good quality

 

i was comparing the audio technica mh50x with the sony mdr 1a and it seems the technica are a bit bulky and used mostly for stationary use. like djing. the sony mdr 1a seems more practical. what do you guys think?

 

They're pretty rugged and can be find for car rides and long flights, etc. But I'd agree, they'd not great for walking around with them on.

Hey superhelix1122, I bought a pair of Sony mdr 1as a couple of weeks ago. The sound quality is good for me riding the subway to work everyday, since they seem to insulate the ear pretty well. Got them without doing much comparison with other models however.

Ozone headsets seem good and fairly cheap.

I tried BBD headphones and they were extremely good. Not sure why you guys think they're bad.

 

To the untrained ear, they sound fine.

Anybody who considers themselves an audiophile will tell you they are garbage, especially considering the price.
