What happened to RSGoldMarkt?

I understand the offense, but regardless it WOULD benefit R2 for this kid to be banned, (not saying R2 would do anything like that) but it'll look that way regardless. There are plenty of staff at this point .. Someone who isn't vested balls deep in the gold game should handle it. Someone without anything to gain.

I'm saying the ultimate decision will be made by people not in the gold game. Though R2's advice is obviously very valued. Better for the public to see him dissecting the issue versus it being behind closed doors though imo

According to r2, the last 2 months of vouches on his thread are all fake. And according to posts made here, the accounts are all his.

Just because he wasn't necessarily asking them to do it, doesn't mean he wasn't turning a blind eye to it happening tbh lol. I highly doubt he was going to start reporting posts of people vouching him saying those trades didn't happen.

 

Stop spreading that lie... it wasn't R2 who even discovered the fact a large enough portion of the vouches were fake.

admins obviously edited his post and added a bunch of fake vouches after creating fake accounts to make such vouches

r2p brings in more sales

Rsgoldmarkt got dropped on his head by r2:
He has 0 chats, he admits that nearly every single vouch on his thread since the middle of March is fake. His argument is that he did not create those vouches, that some random person has come along and vouched all of his threads daily for the past month. He says that both he and his agents somehow did not notice 100's of fake vouches on his threads. He implies that, in the past month, neither him nor his 5 workers have once looked at the vouches in his thread and realized they are all completely fake.

However, he did have time to go through the threads and copy many of those vouches into his vouch thread.

 

This is basically being investigated by the whole staff. No one person has full say on anything. I am communicating to RSGoldMarkt information that has already been discussed.

This is an ongoing investigation and I'm sure once we have solid conclusions we will share more information with the rest of the site.

EDIT: We have also ruled out the initial theory that RSGoldMarkt = Mod Reach

I think you misread my post. R2 is the one that said "he admits that nearly every single vouch on his thread since the middle of March is fake." so what I said isn't a lie and in no way was I implying r2 uncovered any fake vouches you made that implication on your own. So where exactly did I lie? Heh.

Maybe i should have worded it better and said, according to "r2's post"

Should delete all of his gold selling\buying threads and his vouch thread and make him start from scratch with a TWC and a lengthy ban... Who knows how many of his vouches dating back to the very beginning are real or fake. This entire situation is a bit perplexing...

Has something like this ever happened on this sort of scale?
