    There was a bug that gave you invincibility, and 80k+ corp beasts were killed from this invincibility glitch by a guy, which was made public only a couple of days ago:

    Mod Mat K says that has nothing to do with it:

    This bug also gave you invincibility in staking, and gave you infinite xp at pest control as you could attack the portal forever.

    Whilst Jagex were fixing that bug, they discovered certain changes in the source code, which Mod Reach had full access to, and discovered certain things were altered.
    We are still unsure what these changes were, but whatever they were, is the reason Mod Reach was fired.

    'Yb' was a general rank in Mod Reach FC, and he was also abusing the bug, might be linked as to the reason he was fired:

    TL;DR

    My theory is that Mod Reach was creating bugs in-game over the past year (or only recently), that allowed him to generate wealth quickly in-game, going home, and abusing the f*** out of them.
    He bought a brand new audi recently, which he posted pics of on his instagram page. And to prove my point:

    This video is from the last Q&A.
    It clearly shows that Jagex knew Mod Reach was up to something.

    He knew about the Corp Invincibility glitch for months I guess?
    Heard aswell that he was one of the biggest Bug Abusers back in the day.

    So maybe he was abusing? knowing the bug without telling Jagex?
    Who knows.

    Real World Trading is what rumors I've heard from officials in his CC but they are kicking everyone from Mod Reach's CC so cant really figure out what exactly happened. As in himself and his friends profited off his Mod Powers in some fashion and the gold was more than likely sold off.

    Woah.. Was not expecting this. The next Q&A livestream is gonna be extremely awkward. Anywho, there is a lot of speculation going on. We can assume it's related to the corp glitch, but it's yet to be confirmed.

    R2Pleasent had posted a good comment:

    It's likely Mod Reach was implementing updates that allowed him to create wealth. The gold prices for both 07 and RS3 have dropped considerably in the past month, despite a growing player-base. In my mind, this can only be explained by major bug abuse in-game, something much bigger than 20 bots running Corp Beast invincibility.

    This isn't Corp Beast. Mod Reach was able to edit RS source code. Corp Beast glitch was way too slow, even with 20 accounts it earned maybe 300-500M per day total.

    Would be something much easier. Something that could create wealth almost instantly. I also highly doubt this quote is true:

    You're telling me, a guy with access to Runescape's source code, who has been with the company for years, was caught on his first attempt at abusing his position? Does somebody meticulously audit every single change to the Runescape source code? Highly doubt it.
