Hey guys

Is it possible to get unbanned at all ?

I got an RWT goldfarming ban like 6 months ago.
I put 300m 07 ( won from staking )on a fresh account ( had done it before with no problems). I duelled it over and the fresh lvl 3 that received it got banned like 2-3 hours after creation of the account.

I emailed jagex asking if it's allowed to transfer over large amounts of gold to another account for safekeeping and they told me it's allowed.

Another thing is , i was dumb enough to log in via free vpn ( hotspotshield) while creating the account , is it possible that the free vpn ip was flagged and that's the reason for a ban without investigation.

Without investigation because i hadn't broken any rules on the account.

Any chance of this account getting unbanned?

 

Nope. Jagex is finally fortifying permanent bans for what they are.

 

Yea but i haven't broken a single rule on the account, that's the funny part.
I wouldn't be complaining if i had.

Using a public vpn was a big mistake. You can try to contact Mod Weath via twitter @JagexWeath, and explain the situation to him. He handles account bans of all types, but he will most likely give you a generic response (the one you won't like), especially since the ban occurred half a year ago. Good luck.

 

Thanks i'll try that, mostly frustrated because jagex has been totally ignoring any tweets/emails that contain the word "banned" lol

 

You haven't broken any rules "on the account" - what about your IP? Assuming yes because you're on this site?

 

My personal ip is pretty safe, guess they banned me because i used a free vpn (probably flagged ip)

 

Yeah you can get unbanned. Highly unlikely tho. Since you used a different IP for transfer. say account was hacked and show by sending from your home IP.

 

I have logged in both accounts without a vpn at one point. So they can check ip's to check if they were both my accounts. Idk if they'll even bother checking tho, that's the problem.
If they investigate they'll find that i didn't break any rules

 

Edit = saying i was hacked wouldn't be smart because they told me via mail that it's allowed to transfer gold from one to another account.

 

They won't even bother. There are thousands of other people claiming the same thing and they won't even look at it twice. You can send them hundreds of emails etc., nothing can be done. Sorry bud.

jagex logic, you RWT = no ban
just transfer over to another acc = Ban

 

Since all accounts and all items will always be owned by JaGeX they can always ban you for whatever reason they want. I don't think you've got a chance.

 

I'll probably keep trying every now and then, might come across a nice moderator.

Your only real chance is trying to ask at RuneFest, Jagex will usually unban your account. Good luck.

 

Try calling Jagex, a friend of mine got into a similar situation and actually called there head office.
