Sons of Anarchy

I'm surprised that there wasn't a thread made on this show..too bad it won't last long since next week is the show's finale

Anyone else a fan of sons?

 

I love SOA I've recently gotten into it and am now on season 4.

 

I love Sons of Anarchy. Like Zippy, I also recently got into watching it. Great show.

 

One of my top 5 shows for sure.

 

Entire show just ended, but seeing that some of you guys aren't done yet, went spoil

But all I got to say is hell of a ride man, thanks Kurt Sutter for an amazing show.

 

Is this show worth watching? Honestly I have heard good things about it but I have also heard it is a super brutal show with extreme violence content.

 

I watched it and found it great, but then I got to Season 4 and I just lost interest...

Season 1-3 was great though!

 

You have to finish it though, its a must

 

Great show, finale was a few nights ago. I just watched the finale and all I have to say is I'm not happy with the ending, but I'm not surprised by it either. It's fitting.

 

I thought that the finale was great, but i could see how some people wouldnt understand it since it is religiously affiliated

 

Finally finished. Wasn't too thrilled with how the last few episodes shook out.

But overall, one of the best shows I've watched. Usually known for its unpredictability, I found myself being able to guess most of what happened in the last season.

Glad they at least didn't drag it out to death.

 

It was half and half for a lot of audiences, there was some pretty intense biblical allusion on the season finale. I guess some people didn't see that, which was why it might seemed sort of random.

 

That was an interesting touch. The finale felt uneventful for large periods to me, the penultimate (or second to last) episode was way crazier.


I can't really see how it could have ended better, so I'm content. That said I didn't enjoy Season 7 as much as others, maybe because I knew this was the end?

 

Yeah I felt sort of the same way, theres a sort of depression that happens to me once a tv show ends, kind of like a break-up lol. But knowing that Sons of Anarchy was Kurt Sutter's baby and how I was a total fan of the entire show, I feel obligated to support it all the way through. But you're correct, Season 7 wasn't as great as the previous season for example, but then again its hard to wrap up that much in the few last episodes (first episodes of the season sort of dragged on/were kind of random)

 

I'm watching the earlier seasons again, soooo good. So strange watching the characters knowing what their fates are. Makes it a lot sadder for a lot of characters once you know if they survive or not.

 

Haha love Sons, but I don't think I could ever rewatch it. Too sad knowing its all over :'(

 

I've only seen em once through, it's nice re-watching it

 

You should check out Peaky Blinders, also has a gang/brotherhood type of feel

Also it's reallly interesting watching SOA again knowing everything that happens.

 

Yeah Peaky Blinders is on netflix, I think they have all the current seasons on netflix rn (total of like 2)
