Prayer level on a pure

I am undecided on my pure's prayer level.

So far he is 46 attack, 40 strength, 1 def, 60 range, and 60 magic, and 34 prayer. Attack and prayer were both quested.

I plan on maxing him out at 50/1/99/?/99/99 at some point. I'm just unsure of the prayer and I don't know how important the protect prayers are at high levels. Is Eagle Eye that much more important for chinning to 99 range? Is protect melee saving me from a way longer time grinding out to 99 strength? thoughts?

 

I feel like if you already have 34 prayer you should get it up to 43 since you already have some cb levels and it'll make most quests a lot easier

 

I think 52 is worth getting for the chance of smiting whips/godswords

as a maxed gmaul pure you will be 72-78 combat. Not many people have whips and AGS' at that level. I would recommend you get 44 for chinning as well as access to NMZ, because those are the fastest methods for ranged and melee respectively (leaf bladed sword in NMZ on easy mode with boosters)

 

How does the NMZ training work?

 

I'm having the same issue trying to figure out what pray to get on my pure. Currently I'm at 15.

I like to have low pray just to be a lower cb, but at 43 pray it gives you access to NMZ training and you can get a firecape.

I'm most likely going to go for 43 pray for those 2 reasons.

 

44 prayer will make your leveling way faster and less harsh.52 prayer will allow to smite down some people and will add some fun to pking.talking about pking protect prayers will allow you to hybrid with overheads, which are super fun

 

uhm depends how you wanna go about it, for now if you plan on pking before you even attempt to get those stats stay 34. but for xp purposes in the future i'd say get the 44-52 prayer

 

i would get 44 pray if using range or 52 if you get higher level pure

 

You need to fully decide on what your going to do with your account, (future wise), if you're gonna go for a zerker eventually or any other specific pure you need to plan this out smart and not mess up the pure, cause if you're actually going to max it out, plans might change and you'll want different account.
By this i mean quest the prayer, and don't get above 45 or 52.

 

I would have kept the prayer lower from the start but at this point I would say you might as well just get 52 prayer for the smite.
