Hearthstone Market

Now, I understand there was a HS discussion section which had close to no activity in it, but I wonder why we never added a HS market: Obviously, there isn't a whole lot to talk about HS [What would you post? What deck you opened the other day / What Arena run you had? - For decks and such there is Hearthpwn, etc]

I, however believe there may be people who could be interested in having arena keys obtained for them, getting coaching, hell, some people may even be interested in being boosted [Let alone account sales].

I think a HS Market should be given a chance.

Lol wait you want a new market forum for a game that already has its own section with little to no activity?

No support. I don't think the game will get much bigger and obviously hasn't hit its stride here on sythe.

 

You do realize that there no longer is a HS section at all on sythe?

Also, the last time we had it, it was actually in the beta times, of course nobody played it and got the hang of it. I think it should easily be given a chance.

 

Support, personally a fan of the game and would be active if there was a secton for one

I'd support trying a market out for it, and going from there. However, I have doubts that the game has much need for a market. You can't trade Hearthstone cards between accounts, essentially the only service that can be offered is boosting.

 

I'd support it. Seems like a pretty good idea, considering how well popular it is.

 

A big community doesn't always equate to a big market or high-end game discussion. This is exactly what Hearthstone is. It's indisputably undeserving of an individual forum, just as it was undeserving of one before.

 

Nobody said big community equates a big market, however: I would like to stress yet again, that the previous time we had HS discussion section it was in the BETA times [obviously you can't expect a big demand for a section designated for a game which isn't even out of Beta yet]. Also, based on what exactly do you believe it is undeserving of an individual forum?

You can still offer Coaching [which essentially is more valuable as boosting OR the cards themselves (seeing that some players with legend level decks can't even get past level 10-11)] and Arena Runs [which gives you loot based on the amount of wins gathered] as well as account sales. Also, in Arena you get a Key which can be seen in your profile [your best Arena Run].

I think these are definitely viable seeing how many people play Hearthstone and how some people are struggling with understanding the game well.

 

I just did. The ability of producing active discussion and consistent market trading is dependant and respective to the place which is hosting these things. Sythe, which is predominantly Runescape influenced, will not have that same activity as say a website that is solely focused on Hearthstone. It's obvious that there isn't a significant demand for Hearthstone content that should warrant an individual forum for it. The proof lies in the market. Before we start pushing for something like this, we need to see more demand.

 

You could say the same thing about LoL markets and yet it's very active and has a huge demand as well. Obviously you can't expect everyone to demand a HS market on a forum revolving mainly around RS, you have to build the subsection and then you'll have the people who were originally interested in the idea PLUS the people you have drawn over from other sites, solely with the HS section.

If we ran by your thoughts, we'd have no CS section, no League section, no WoW section, no nothing.

 

Runescape and League of Legends are synonymous in terms of both being relative in niche, why is why many rs players are attracted to the game. Same with WoW which has been around for ages, and has a more flexible market than the one you're proposing. CS has always had a popular market. You don't seem to understand that forum creations need to correlate the productivity of the game in that market. Can you show proof of Hearthstone having significant production? This is just my opinion, nothing more.

I play a ton of the game, helped start up the initial discussion section here on Sythe.

With that being said, there's virtually no market for Hearthstone. You cannot gift packs, trade cards, and boosting is much more difficult than on something like LoL. You need to give over all of your battle.net information - which isn't advisable for a number of reasons.

I don't think it'll be active either.
