Hey everyone.

Making this thread to discuss OSRS Future, what do you guys think will happen?
How long do you think OSRS will stay alive?
What do you predict in upcoming months | years, updates wise what items do you expect to be brought back to the game from pre EoC?

Feel free to ask any questions about OSRS or account builds, and I'll try answering as best as possible.​

Honestly, and sadly, I think they're going to ruin it just like they did with Rs3. Too much of the community wants new and different, and free stats from minigames/splashing/etc.

I think the game will just be updated all the time like it is now. Obviously afk nmz/splashing will be gone, new prayer books, new spell books, zeah, etc. I also think this game will survive for around another 3-4 years. After that since it's such an outdated game it'll be gone. Then again I could be completely wrong.

I can't wait for the new continent and everything that comes with it.

 

the new continent should be interesting considering its 50% more of runescape lol. thats a lot. i think the game will last a good amount though

 

as long as the community keeps it alive.

I feel like they will propose new armours and then they will go from there. Just like RS3. There will continue to be additions and unfortunately, there will be an addition that the player base will regret to vote for and then there will be a drop in the amount of players. It's a matter of time so enjoy it while you can

 

I really want dragon claws to come back. Only reason why my almost maxed zerker is 60 att is because of it.

 

@Euterpe, do you realize you only like them because they were OP as fuck and cheap compared to the AGS? It's not as if the mechanism was unique or anything. People like you were the reason the original game got ruined. Keep adding more OP stuff every update until you need more armour with damage reduction and higher healing foods.

 

Ags > claws any day. I agree it was a little strong but it wasn't "OP". I wouldn't mind at all if claws got some balance changes, either way they were extremely fun to pk with.
