Is Aliexpress Legit?

I really want to buy supreme hoodies but its too much IRL. I saw one in Aliexpress for $36 with good reviews and I'm wondering if anyone ever shopped there online and if they're legit.

 

Yes its legit, but can be a real PITA.

Its like a supercheap Chinese amazon, any disputes between buyers has to go through them. Nobody speaks English worth a fuck in my experience and shipping takes forever.

Negatives aside I've gotten some STEALS on aliexpress and continue to shop there.

also, make sure to purchase from a reputable source. there are lots of scammers on aliexpress, similar to sythe. you can find great things at great prices but do your research first.

 

alright great. I cant pay to them directly so do you know any1 on sythe that is willing to pay for the item and in return i can give them bitcoins or rsgp with interest since aliexpress is cheap

 

Brought a lot of stuff, have family members who buy items all time - just be careful with who you buy off! make sure there repeatable and do not hold your breath if you need it next month buy else where... they can fuck up so easily!

 

I would suggest using eBay as you can get some deals on there & see there rep.

Forgot to mention to OP ANYTHING (in my experience) from Ali baba/express that is branded is a fake/replica/clone or whatever euphemism for knock off.

But there's lots of high quality knockoffs.

I buy earrings on there all the time. The company is owned by Alibaba, a company that SoftBank (which in turn owns Sprint) owns about a third of. A few words of advice:

1. Everything with a recognizable name brand is counterfeit, and there's a wide range in quality, so only buy items where you don't care if it's fake. (Clothing/textiles and jewelry are fine, but I wouldn't recommend tech).

2. Most items take about a month to arrive unless you pay for express shipping

3. If they get suspicious (either because you order too much or use pre-paid credit cards), they have a shit verification process that requires a photocopy of your credit card, ID, etc. If you refuse, they'll continue to cancel every order you place (although it's easy to get around by creating a new account).

4. Lastly, when you place an order, your money will go into an escrow account for a period of time (pre-determined by the seller); the seller doesn't get paid until the time expires or you confirm you've received the item. If you have a problem, make sure you file a complaint within this window, or ask for an extension if you still haven't received the item. Otherwise, you're out of luck.

In short, yes it's legit, but it's sketchy nonetheless.
