Ps4 problems

When playing call of duty on ps4 I noticed I'm behind everyone meaning they see me before I see them or it's taking way longer to kill them while I die in 2 bullets. When I use my phone as a hotspot I seem to have an advantage. Could it be my setup ?

My setup-
Modem: Arris Surfboard sb6141
Router: Linksys EA6900
Also have TimeWarnerCable 50/5

 

maybe your internet is crap, is your ps4 wired or wireless

 

It's 50 down 5 up and wired

 

I'm just shooting blanks here, but coming from a PC's perspective alot of problems like this tend to relate to monitor issues. I mean, I used to play on a 60Hz 5ms response time monitor and used to get shit on in games. Switching to a 1ms monitor I'm alot faster.

Could be internet problems, but if you're not lagging then I don't see how that could be a factor. And if you're hitting a 50 down speed that is almost impossible.

 

Can't be the monitor because I play on a BenQ RL2455HM

 

I've noticed this happens to me to, but not at night time. I think during peak Internet hours its effecting my gameplay, but i'm only 100mbps.

 

I noticed it alot on PS3, but not anymore ?
