    Internet connection problem/question.

Ive been using my brand new laptop (HP Stream) for the past 2 weeks now with no problems AT ALL, fast as heck, good connection, etc.

Today I logged in and my computer tells me that I am fully connected to the internet, but it keeps disconnecting me from Skype, IKOV, & Rs.

Am I getting "ddos'ed"? If so, how can I stop it? o_O

    TIA.

If you were getting ddosed you mostlikely would not be getting knocked off for just a minute or two (unless someone knows you're currently staking/has a reason to do a quick burst); furthermore, it's highly unlikely someone is going to randomly ddos you.

Check your wireless cards drivers and possibly see if there's an update for your router. Also, it could also just be your provider dropping service for a moment.

What is my 'wireless cards drivers' exactly? How would I check if there is an update for my router? I dont see why it started after 2 weeks, and a day after I buy bunches of gold.

Google is your friend. Search how to update your computers drivers. I'm not on a Windows PC so I cannot tell you the step by step. It's alongside the lines of right clicking the windows button and clicking (perhaps device management? I'm not positive.)

Again, Google. Go check out your router, see what brand/name/etc. the router is, proceed to google and see if you have the latest firmware.

There is a 99% chance you're not being ddosed. If there is no potential gain for the ddoser/you haven't pissed them off, there's not really a potential reason for you to be getting ddosed.

I appreciate the help Tmoe, thanks.

EDIT: told me my drivers were up to date, not sure what else I can do? :(
