How do people always recover their account.

I don't understand how people always manage to recover their account back after selling it,can any one explain what he's doing for it to work?

Lol this is a pretty sketchy question to ask, but they just simply put the information/creation info of the account in the jagex form

 

The IP, earliest password and billing details do the trick.

Probably by using Runescape support and filling the form found there (this is different to account recovering). Jagex staff actually read these messages so you can provide more detailed information about the account. (If you are the original owner and remember some early information about your account this most likely will let you recover your account with almost 100% chance.

 

it is the IP. Most normal people don't remember all of the details about the accounts they create but as long as the account recovery comes from the same IP that it was created on / used regularly on before a completely different IP started using the account (when it was sold) they can easily recover it. So even if the person you bought the account from gives you recovery details make sure they are real by doing a recovery test by typing in those answers to the questions they give you, or find a MM to do it for you. Other than that the best option is to only deal with trusted users, or only buying low level accounts that they wouldn't spend time recovering (which you'd be surprised that some do anyway). Best defense is to just make your own account or purchase from someone that has something to lose if they recover it.

dont buy low lvl accs either, ppl who sell low lvls are most likely waiting for u to train it up, and then recoveries it

 

Yeah this is why buying rs accounts sucks. Because they can always recover if they want to. Just buy from someone trusted and even then its still sketchy.

 

This, been recovered like 6 times at least. Got most of them banned, but still frustrating, it makes it impossible to sell accounts too because everyone assumes they'll be recovered eventually.

its pretty easy for somebody to do and its quite pathetic how much people do, if the person made the account from the ip and tries to recover then boom thats how you do it.

im just reading your whole thread and you seem a bit sketchy first you ask how to recover an account then you mention you want to sell yours bit fishy im afraid.

Its simple if you made and created the account you know things that the buyer doesn't
