Questions about PlayerAuctions / account buying

Hello i'm really tempted to come back to RS and try the new eoc.
I've bought an account a couple years back from here and sadly wasn't smart enough to take precautions and got scammed.

Anyway i'm partially willing to try 1 more time, how legit / safe is playerauctions and what real guarantee do they give you when purchasing an account? , I know the original owner may recover at any time even years later, i just want to hear your opinions and advice first, obviously nobody wants to be scammed, i just want a success for once.

Maybe it's better to make my own account and buy Leveling services?

Buying leveling services are expensive.

I've only ever brought one account from Player Auctions and it was a successful trade. I mean, there's a whole process that takes place before you even get the account.

Usually follows: You checkout - seller than finalizes payment and confirms it - Player Auctions then check the account to make sure everything is correct - then you receive the account.

I mean, realistically we're talking about RuneScape accounts here. Of course there's a chance you can get scammed. There always is. Accounts are just too easy to get recovered provided the person selling it knows exactly how the trade will go down.

But you've got a lot less chance using something like Player Auctions then just buying from some individual off here.

 

nope, pa doesn't do fuck all.

A buddy of mine bought a zerker off a random guy via playerauctions.
The guy recovered the account and he never got his money back.

All they do is post stupid fake statistics to increase sales so they get a larger cut %, for doing absolutely fuck all. (they tried saying that less than 0.1% of the account sold get recovered, fucking lol).

 

Got some Proof On this Buddy? Im a huge fan of PA, and i persuade a lot of people to buy accounts from their since it's legit as, i'd love to see this Proof if you have it.

 

I agree with Dan, I feel you're just pointing fingers because at the end of the day, almost the whole of the RuneScape blackmarket community know you've got a higher chance of a successful trade via PA over some guy from Sythe.

I mean, I completely understand some people have 'supposably' had accounts recovered and had PA do nothing about it. But I've used PA more than I've used Sythe and the ratio between the two in terms of bad trades is questionable.

At the end of the day, accounts DO and WILL get recovered if you don't completely double check who you're buying from either side.

 

Simply comes down to how reputable the other person is.

I've made some risky trades before. Got scammed once and the most recent went perfectly fine. I'd still be very leery when dealing with accounts.

 

Account buying and selling is always sketchy unless you find a reputable person. And if they're reputable you will be paying WAY too much.

 

Buying accounts is never safe as the original owner can always recover it. Your best bet is to buy an account off a trusted Sythe user.
