1997 JEEP TJ Problems, ANY VEHICLE GENIOUSES?

Hey everyone, I have a 1997 JEEP TJ.

Lately, it hasn't been running the best.

My problem is kind of difficult to explain, but...
It seems when I drive over a big bump on the road, it's almost as if it goes into neutral, and my foot on the gas doesn't do anything but rev up the engine...
The RPMS drop quickly, and after a few seconds it goes back to normal...

Okay, I reported my post to try and get it switched.

 

As you are revving the rpms are dropping?

 

auto or manual? sounds like the tranny is slipping out of gear then going back in. i know jeep TJ's have issue with manual trannys staying in gear after a body lift. could also perhaps be a transfer case issue. im not a mechanic tho.

id probably just take it into a shop. all anyone here can do is speculate since we cant physical see it happen and then see what could be wrong

 

Yes, they quickly drop and go back up in a matter of seconds.

It's an automatic.

Sounds like it's low on transmission fluid actually...
