Your opinion of cutting yourself;

self-mutilation isn't illegal...

 

why do it?... it doesnt matter what you feel like but hurting yourself because it is how you feel is absolutely ridiculous.

 

I have a few ideas.

1. Cutting yourself for something someone else did to you? CUT THEM INSTEAD. (Not really, just beat the shit out of em maybe)

2. Cutting yourself for attention? It will just make more people hate you, not the attention you want. Go out for a sport team, or change your approach. (Start with jokes to your friends, stuff like that.)

3. Cutting yourself cause your friends do? Around one pint of blood loss can make you pass out. WOOOHOOOO EMERGRENCY ROOM!

personally i think it is a stupid thing to do it its only for attention and even any other time.... honestly now adays with the "emo" trend 95% of people who slash are doing it to be "cool"

personally i have about 7-8 scars up my arm from 3 different occasions... two sets put me in hospital and i passed out from the other one... however after that time i have learnt that when your at that point life can only get better. and mine has. but yeah slashing is stupid and i can talk from experience.

Also mighty pker... Suicide IS illegal... I cent remember where i read it but im pretty sure its illegal for you to kill yourself. and attempting to kill yourself is thus illegal too... jsut like the difference between murder and attempted murder.

 

That's really stupid to make suicide illegal, i think if you WANT to kill yourself, you should have the right.

I seriously don't understand how people cut themselves. I HATE pain and blood. Especially if I'm cutting myself and blood is spilling on my hand *shudders*. I wonder how it feels to cut yourself. (HELL NO. I'M NOT TRYING IT)

 

well, depending on the degree to which you do it, yes. if you are part of a group that practices ritual scarring, circumcision, or the like, you won't get sent to one.

however, if it's discovered that you are eating your own limbs for pleasure, then you probably will be sent to an institution.

no, but if the person has attempted it, they can be fined and such.

the main thing is that they won't let you do it.

There are people who have serious problems and i think its okay if they do it if it makes it easier for them to cope with their problems.

 

A lot of people can't do anything about it... They just do it because their brain tells them to...

Here's the opinion of my friend who cuts herself... I ended up saving her life.

 

I don't see the point in cutting yourself, it just makes you hurt more.

 

Its the stupidest thing ever. If your depressed over not having enough black to wear go drink some alcohol or something, or in my *opinion* go get a life.

 

i have a feeling that half the people that cut themselves are just following a bogous crowd. and another quarter are just over reacting.

 

I cut, its a way of releasing the pain, instead of acting out and doing it in a worse way.
