BOHM Studios - Featuring Frag Clips / Frag Movies - Youtube Channel

Recently, I've just decided to open up a Youtube Channel for myself.
I just got into the area of video editing/making.

Since, I'm playing CS:GO a lot, CS:GO will be the main priority for frag clips and movies. I hope I could get some support!

do you record game footage or somehow save the previous game played through cs?

edit- also what editing software do you use? i have used sony veg in the past but it doesnt run right ( pirate version) and can never find the best settings for yt qual

 

If it is the competitive matchmaking, it'll be recorded automatically(most of the time, unless CS:GO crashes half way etc). After the game is done, wait a few minutes and head to the "Watch" tab and go to "Your Matches". Right-click the demo and press download. After its done, you can watch it by accessing on the downloaded tab.

I use Shadowplay to record my in-game footage if it is a long clip.

Editing wise, for intro, I use Adobe After Effects. Effects and gameplay clips editing on Sony Vegas(pirate too).

That awp ace, hahaha. I got a pretty decent one on cache myself on my YT. Not edited or anything special, just a stream highlight but it always feels good to pick up a 5k

 

Nice, when you download the replays can you chose to save them to your computer or do they just download to steam/cs:go? Basically what I want to know is can I download my replays and send them off too someone else to edit?

 

If you play in MM, after your game, you can download it via the in-game Watch Tab.

If you play on ESEA, you can download the GOTV demo on the match thread after the games end.

And yes, you can. Once you downloaded from MM, it'll be placed in /csgo folder then you can upload that to a file hosting site and let the editor know what tickrate your kill happen and such

Better to give people the raw demo so they can record it in high fps(example: I record in 300~420fps for my vids)
